Hi guys, I was just after abit of advice as to which light I should go for regardless of the price.

The above light are the ones that have caught my attention, I need a really powerful bike light without the hassle of an extra battery pack.

    Thanks in advance

Here is the beam pattern and appearance of the Lezyne; see: http://reviews.mtbr.com/review-lezyne-deca-drive-1500xxl/2

And here is the Cateye; see: http://reviews.mtbr.com/review-cateye-volt-1600/2

Do a split screen or toggle back and forth between the two to get an idea which would be best for you. Personally, and just my opinion, not sure why anyone would want 1,500 plus lumens for a road bike when 400 to 500 is more than adequate for anyone cranking along at 25 mph, with high setting of 800 or so just in case of a very dark and rainy night.
