Another good race this will be.

Schleck was close to breaking through on Wednesday. Rebellin killed everyone. Evans doesn't have the kick. Cunego isn't exactly on song and neither is Valverde.

Valverde has had 2 races in strong company so should be prepared to take the win this time around.

It looked very simple. Attack on climb 17-18 km. before the finish, bridging the gap and than solo effort. No doubt he was strong today, attacked just on the right place, preventing stronger teams to organize the chase, leaving his two teammates with chasing group.
Pity for Gilbert, he was very good, but went too early.

He has an opportunity, he caught it..If you don't try you will never win.

Just for a moment I thought he was struggling on that penultimate climb, but the time gap wasn't going down... He was the strongest man today.

Just watching the highlights on Eurosport now : AS looked very very strong.
It was a pity for Gilbert that his breakaway with 20-odd kms to go, did not succeed.
Gilbert is a brave rider.

Cadel Evans did a good ride again today - he's going well at this stage of the season.

Ahh, the Schlecks. Avoiding positive controls since 2004.

Looking at the highlights now - after race shots : AS looks tired, being congratulated by Riis.
Frank Schleck looks tired as well.

It's settled: clean as a whistle, the two of them.

Fair points : just emphasising that Schleck (today) and Rebellin (last week) both looked tired after winning their respective races.
It makes a change to see riders (winners) actually look tired at the end of a race.
That's all.

Nice guy as well. Shows you don't need to be a pig to win races. The guy will win at least 3 Tours. Can see him trying all the races out. All class.
