Looks like it's back to the drawing board for Brussels and Strasburg : we had a referendum here yesterday (the only country in the EU - which put the treaty before it's citizens, apart from France and Holland).

It looks like the Irish electorate have rejected the Lisbon Treaty - which means the Treaty is dead for the EU.

Bernard Kouchner France Foreign Minister is to declare war on Ireland!

Excellent news, and good on your Government for having the courage/rectitude to put a thinly disguised new constitution to the vote.

The people in Bruxelles need to understand that they cannot lead with regards to their vision of Europe's future simply because they are Eurocrats who are not beholden by elections to voters. They need to work for us!
