I almost started a thread last week to ask how Fauxpas knew he was the only gay in the forum... I decided against it since I thought it would be used by some as a gay bashing opportunity.

I thought there might be a humorous angle to it... now I need to see about finding a way to watch the show, I do like British comedies.

Here are the results, with height in inches and frame size in cm. I was going to graph it, but I couldn't paste the graph in the thread.

If someone said they ride a 52 but it's too small, I put it in as a 54. However, I did not try to correct for sizing differences between manufacturers - e.g., a 54 Lemond is recorded as 54, just like a 54 Trek. Hope this makes this thread a little more useful. If you go through the data and see errors, please correct me!

Hey, I guess I'm not the only one with a Trek 1000. I'm 70 inches tall and use a 54 centimeter frame. The guy at the bicycle shop said that my torso was a little shorter than usual. That's why!

5 feet 6 inches or 168 centimetres or 1680 millimetres
frame size: Compact Frame Giant OCR1 Small
also have a traditional frame (double triangle) 55 cm but bought off-the-shelf angles all wrong for me, and it's too big, had to get shortest head-stem and still not the best fit

    5' 7 1/4" (female)

54 cm frame, but might switch to 90mm stem instead of stock 110.

    Specialized Roubaix Comp

Didn't notice any difference with 52s I tried, except women's bikes were too cramped.

5'8", 29.5" inseam, 51 cm Specialized compact frame (Sequoia) and a Medium Giant OCR1. The Giant feels just a little bit big, not uncomfortable, just a little stretched out.
