Litespeed Tuscany on eBay Vs Lemond Arrivee at LBS

Now this is the dilemma:
I can buy a Lemond Titanium Arrivee brand new at a LBS for 1700 + tax. I can also get a Litespeed Tuscany on eBay for about 1500 + shipping. Personally, I don't think I can go wrong either way. Both are reputed bikes and fit my kind of riding (2-3 rides of 15-30 miles on weekdays and centuries or longer rides on some weekends). Tuscany might be a better bike, but buying the Arrivee from a LBS has its advantages - adjustments, replacements, etc.
Since both options sound so good, I am having a hard time making up my mind. What would you do?

For me this is a no-brainer -- I always buy from my local LBS for the very reasons you cited, and have NEVER regretted it. The extra you pay is returned many times over for the convenience and local support.

Run, don't walk, to your LBS.
I agree! Don't forget the LBS should work with you on the fit- I got my bike a month ago & have been in the LBS 4+ times working on the fit. It now rides like a dream and fits me perfectly (well almost , yes, I'm a bit picky).
