I love a good ole boiled lobster. But how much meat do you get in a lobster? I don't want to tear one apart, get all the meat out and measure it. That would take over an hour and all the meat would get yucky while I was doing that.
I'm estimating about 1.25 cup of meat for a 1.5lb lobster. That is 3.5 points (and a very succulent and entertaining meal).
Does anyone know if my guess is way off base here?

I'm thinking that there's more than 1.25 cups of meat there. That might cover the tail but not the claws. You might ask the folks at your local supermarket or fish market if they know.
Weigh the Lobster before you eat and then the empty shell. Subtract the 2nd figure from the first the voila the weight of what you have eaten. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland

Brilliant! So simple I can't believe I didn't think of that!

WW booklet says that 1 steamed 1.25 pound lobster or 4.5 oz of meat is 3 points. Your guess is probably close enough
