Yes you do. But try ebay for a used 180 mm one that should put you under 200 bucks. New it´s Dura Ace, Record, Tune, FSA team issue (only from the manufacturer directly) and FRM i think. All in the +200 price range.

Are you going down the "53-11 Alltheway" route? How tall are you? What's your inseam? I suppose you've got all that figured out.

Footnote: did you know that the four best hour record efforts were done on 170mm and 172.5mm cranks? Ok, the two guys were 5'8" and 5'9", but still......
