Looking for a good tool set/ and cd/book repair manual

I am new to this, but want to do my own work. A good book or cd that is for
the beginner but covers everything is what I am looking for. Money is no
object if it is worth it. Thanks

Leonard Zinn has great books on mountain and road repairs.

The grand daddy of all bike repair manuels is Barnetts(sp). It is a total repair course, but expensive.
