  1. Somewhere in the last few months, I was reading a magazine, or
newspaper, or some other print medium, and saw a recipe for a green
    salad with a citrus dressing.

It had orange and lemon juice, I don't think it contained any oil, and
I don't remember what the salad consisted of, but recall thinking that
it was a nice, light and delicious sounding combination.

I want to make it for a potluck on Sunday, but checked all my
magazines, my recipe clipping pile, the archives of a couple of the
newspapers I read, websearches, and no luck.

Does it ring a bell with anyone?

I have got to get organdized!

I sometimes use avocado oil and lime juice with a sprinkle of blue
    cheese over the green salad.

If no oil at all is used there is a tendency for the other liquid to
sink to the bottom of the salad bowl.

I've found that too, Joseph. I like to put a little oil over the salad
and toss it to make sure all the greens are coated, add S&P, then add
some lemon juice or vinegar over the whole thing and toss it again.
Keeps the salad from getting soggy, and there's very little, if any,
dressing in the bottom of the bowl.

I've made a d that sounds like what you're looking for, but it had
o.o. It also used o.j. concentrate, possibly a little lemon juice, and
finely chopped shallot. Don't remember the porportions, tho.
