Sorry about this, but I do like to plan ahead...
I'm thinking about doing a cycle tour round the Ypres Salient (Belgium)
next August, ahen I have an enforced 2-week layoff.
Would there be any classic races to watch at that time of year? Shame
Paris-Roubaix is in spring...
Also, what's the best way to get from Zeebrugge to, say, Arras by/with
me pushiron? I'm not sure I fancy spending a whole 120 mile day across
the industrian estates of northern Belgium. Brugge is only 10 miles from
the boat though, I was wondering about train or bikebus?
Absolute novice at cycling abroad, however I have thousands of miles on
motorcycles in Europe which will hopefully stand me in good stead.
Oh, and should I take me tent or stay in BnB?
All advice gratefully received,
Tony B
