Looking to build custom bike - looking for components

[Ugats]

I'd like ot build a hybrid mountain bike based on a cruiser frame. Something that looks like a
Bianchi Milano, Specialized Globe, or Dyno. I'm new to this, but I thought it would be something fun
to do. Is there a good source for components and such I could contact to sort through? Thank you in

Harris Cyclery carries a lot of the internal gear hubs, a good place to start.

http://www.bullteksports.com/ has a lot of hard to find components including some no Shimano
MTB gruppos.
