losing weight without losing strength



Only been at this about 6 months, but I ride every other day, 1/2hr duration at 75-85 max HR with some running and swimming. My weight is fixed at couch potato size, about 45/50 lbs over ideal.

My waist, chest and neck are dropping inches, but I would love to drop more weight any advice?

How do i lose weight without strength? I am dieting and eating a lot of protein, and I am still working out. But I'm worried about losing all of the muscle I put on this fall. Any suggestions?
