Lost Coast route in CA

Nice road and ride south Fernbridge-Ferndale (ice cream stop)-Petrolia-Honeydew (there was an
authenitc hippie store in Honeydew, but not much else anywhere enroute). My AAA 'Northwestern
California' map is an old one and shows Wilder Ridge Rd gravel, but I think it is now paved, but I'm
sure much of the Kings Peak Rd south to where it connects to state 1 is still gravel. Should be a
nice ride and scant traffic, but I'd want to have extra tubes and an extra tire. Unless things have
changed I might be wary about wandering off roads into someone's marijuana patch. Why not phone the
Sinkyone Wildreness State park for more up-to-date road and map info?

bikes with mixed-tread (slick-ish, but some tread) tires. Fully prepared for repairs and the like,
but don't want to end up riding up incredibly steep gravel roads, if that's what's there:-]

Any info would be greatly appreciated, particularly if you've ridden these!
