Hi everyone I am new here and looking for some advise on updating my bike. I have an 90 something Cannodale 300 aluim. frame road bike.This is pretty much all I can afford far as a frame its nice for me and my style of riding I probably ride 100 miles a week,it has shimano EXAGE componets. I want to change the derailers,shifters and hubs it has a 52/42 up front and 11/21 in the rear 7 spd. Any cheap ideas on upgrades? Thanks in advance for your time and responses!!

Upgrade the rear derailleur to 105 and the front to Tiagra, change the hubs to 105.
But the biggest improvement though is to buy better, lighter wheels.
You can do this stuff in parts, like replace the front wheel, then the rear, then the rear derailleur, then the front.
