Hi there folks, I'm here again with newbie question. Does anybody here have used this frame (MACALU)? I heared it was made by MERLIN or LITESPEED and its being sold at excel sports. If they are in fact made by either one of those companies I would like to know the quality of the macalu frame. Thanks guys for the input.🙂

Merlin and Lightspeed are made by American Bicycle Group, but I wasn't aware that they made Macalu as well.

I live just north of Boulder and have seen the frames up close; they are indeed well made and the sales people at Excel market them as being made by Merlin to Excel's specs. I nearly bought the Cirrus Pro but alas had to settle on something cheaper...JS
