Had a test ride this morning of a Trek Madone 5.2, first time I have ever tried a Trek bike at all, as part of my brothers search for a new bike... and must admit it was pretty nice, very smooth, seems like a pretty good ride for long rides, certainly felt better than the Cannondales, Giants and even a La Piere that his has tried so far... very different ride of course, but as an all around bike... seems pretty good.... price is up there, but he has been told he can get it for a very good price at Ian Hendrie cycles down at Barwon Heads.
I know a few people on here are riding Madones' aren't they.. generally good feedback ?? Lifetime warranty on a carbon fibre frame as well.

I've got a 5.2. It's a superb bicycle. Very good at high speed decents, good in crits, great all round road racing bike.
