Magna Cycles of Hull / Kingston Sapphire

Hi all,

I've just picked up this racing bike circa. mid / late 1970's by Magna Cycles of Hull. It's called a Kingston Sapphire, but that's about all I know about this bike (My Dad's had it in the shed for the past twenty years). I'm new to road biking, have just ordered my first racing bike, but thought I'd renevate this Magna.

Does anyone know anything about the make / model.

I know many years have passed, did you ever find a way to fix you bike ? A friend of mine has just come across one and wants to renovate it or so it up. I am originally from Hull (near Hull anyway, Aldbrough) but live in Spain now. Can you find bits for these ? It’s a long shot as you might not be on the forum anymore.
