more as a point of reference for the future, but what is needed to keep this fork in good order?

My previous fork was of the elastomer type so i only needed to grease the inner cylinders (are they
called stanchions?) once in a while.

Looking at these, i discovered they were also elastomer shocks, though of a better quality as they
had dust seals (previous had just cheap plastic bushings that wore out). so, assuming they take a
grease, what kind would i use? previously i use just a lithium grease.

And the second question, how often should they be maintained?

Ride them till they fall apart or elastomers go hard. meanwhile start a "bike parts" bank account
and and keep an eye out for close-outs on Marzocchi shocks.

Hmmm, me in the bomberhood, droooollll. I do have a savings account. i think i may just do that, if
the bank hasn't closed it yet anyway. checking... yup, closed. well, i'll just have to generate
another cash savings (small safe with small drawers labeled for what i need to save it for. all
balances are tracked of course, though currently the total cash balance is about $11 for "general
cash", but consider it transferred).
