Malvern Star LA 84

I just got a bike that on it is says Malvern Star LA 84.
Is that an Australian make or a Taiwan copy.
It is quite light (chromium-molybdenum), and goes well.

No idea, but my wife likes her's. Well the frame is a MS LA 84.
