Only recipe I use for margaritas: 1/3 Tequila 2/3 Triple Sec (or other orange liqueur but not Grand Marnier) 3/3 Fresh lime juice Add ice cubes / crushed ice if you wish, make the volume you want and decant. This is the classic recipe. Done this with great success here in Scotland with standard UK tequila. I do warn you the drink is lovely but lethal!
