Nice ride by Hincapie off Mt Hamilton.

Well, it was at the front of the laughing group but still good to see him finish
the stage. Nice ride by Victor Hugo Pena to put himself in the top ten on GC.

And don't forget yet-another strong ride from Chris Horner. The guy's about
as dependable as they come. Plus, as usual, he's smiling in every picture I
took of him today. I don't know of anybody who seems to love every single
second he's on a bike like he does. He's living his dream, and knows it. Too
bad he's not a few years younger.

That was some training by Chechu yesterday. The man is a locomotive.

For what? A remake of "La Cage aux Folles" using bicycle racing instead of
cabaret?

It goes to show the Euros are still in training mode at the ToC.

As he signed in at Seaside this morning Cipo was interviewed by the
obligatory shouty-crowd-stirrer-upper. Couldn't undertstand ONE
WORD...but he sounds like a cross between Lurch and Henry
Kissinger....would be scary if it wasn't for that million watt
smile...and that bike, whew, gave me chills just looking at it.

I understand that Le TOC is a training ride, not unlike Le TDF has
become, but you still gotta cross the line and every one you cross at
+40 is cause for celebration.

Cipollini impressed me before he "retired" - what a great rider. And
while I sort of don't like his returning with such a disturbing team,
he's showing his physical class again.
