It's that time of the year again, the time to catch hypothermia while standing as on a mini roundabout as I dare. Nice big sign for cars on the approach, me with a hiviz jacket as well as a marshall's tabard.
Of the 6 (out of 40+) or so possible conflicts between cars going straight over and riders turning left, 5 drivers did no pay any attention to my or the bikes' existence. Not even an enraged look; just a "I wonder what's going on here" blank stare as they came within 2 ins of each rider.
I just hope none of them thought I was going to try to stop the traffic.
