Unfortunately I will not be in the House, having checked my
diary I have made a commitment some time ago to take part in
an international 'back to school' day in my constituency. I
have however written to the Minister, Dr Kim Howells at the
Department of Transport expressing my hope that the
government will not support this bill. If you have the
opportunity it would be a good idea to send an e-mail to the
Minister - the house of Commons website has details of e-
mail addresses.
Friday is of course the second reading debate so there will
be further opportunities to oppose this bill."

Mr Challen previously told me he is a CTC member and
supports their stance on the subject.
