Hi,
I have a set of Marzocchi Bomber Z3 light forks (Not much used over
last few years) from either 1998 or 1999, and I have a number of
queries which I hope someone might be able to help me with.
1. I am quite light and my sag is only about 18%, which I think is a
little low. Am I right in saying I probably need soft springs to
increase this sag up to 25%? If so does anyone know what the spring
rating was when the forks were new i.e. soft, medium, hard or extra
hard?
2. The adjustment on the top of the forks to increase or decrease seem
to make very little difference, is this normal?
3. All the documentation on this fork suggest the travel is 65mm
however my forks seem to be 80mm (if I am measuring from the right
point)
4. Chain reaction for 80mm forks only have med rated springs and above.
Does anyone know where I can get soft springs (UK) for these forks?
Thanks for your help in advance.
