  1. Hey guys n gals, long time reader first time poster hehe ๐Ÿ™‚

I've just been fixing up my old Giant and fitted some Marzocchi Forks to it, and here lies my lil problem (not so much problem, just curiosity)

I bought the forks off ebay, and they were listed as 1999 Z2 Bams. The seller said they had 105mm travel, and I checked the specs for the Z2 Bams and they apparently have 80mm.

So I was wondering, is there anyway I could measure the travel without taking it apart ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, is there anyway I could tell exactly which fork it is, as the Z1's had 105mm travel and I was wondering if theres a way to tell the difference between the two (without the help of stickers ๐Ÿ™„ ) as Z1's would be much prefferred ๐Ÿ˜„

    Cheers

Put a ZIP TIE onto either slider ... slip it down as far down as you can ...

Press down on the fork ...

    Measure the difference.
