HELLO,
I AM REBUILDING MY 02' MXC ECC FORK.CAN ANYONE DISCRIBE THE STEPS TO ADDING THE SHOCK OIL? I'M GUESSING I'M SUPPOSED TO POUR IT IN THROUGH THE TOP CAPS,BUT I'M NOT EXACTLY SURE.I'VE WENT TO THE MARZOCCHI WEB SITE AND IT'S NOT TO THOROUGH ON HOW TO DO THIS.THANKS FOR THE HELP.

I'm into that same process now. Not at all clear to me how to measure the oil height - without taking out the springs and retainers. Maybe that's it, but the manual is no help at all - they seem to be saying that we shouldn't mess with this stuff and better leave it to an 'authorized mechanic' of which there are exactly 0 in Peru.
Did you hook up a good source of info on a Z1 rebuild / oil change?

I took mine to the local shop.All they did was was pour about 40mm into the stanchions with them extended.They measured from the top of the threads down to the oil.Then they slowly cycled the fork a few times to get the air out,then remeasured.He continued to do this until there was 40mm in both sides with no more air bubbles.Cap it off,and your ready to go.So far the fork is smooth as butta'.Good luck!
