  1. Maurice de Vlaminck. This great French painter (1876-1958) was the father of Fauvism, a musician and
a poet, but also a professional cyclist (road & track) from 1893 to 1896. He had to quit cycling due
to illness. I can find many places on the web relating with his painting, but no information
    regarding his cycling carreer.

    Anyone got some info?

    Regards tony
