I need to find out what bearings the rear mavic cosmic elite uses.

Boca says 1x6001 & 1x6000. Now unless Mavic are building these wheels with TWO bushes in the rear ;) and not using the same 3 bearings set as the kysrium elite etc (1x6001 & 2x608) then I don't know what is going on.

Anybody have better hands on experience with these wheels?

(no I don't have a set handy to pull apart and see for myself)

If anybody knows where to go to find mavic service manuals or spares as well that would be handy!!

See attached an expanded view of the Mavic Cosmic Elite hubset. Hope it helps.

Thanks, that does help.

One bearing in the rear which is the same as the two used in the front, so would support the 6001x2 frt 6001+6000 rr.

Strange that they don't have a center bearing on the axle, bit like shimano.

Where did you get that from?

Thanks, that is usefull but how do you determine the bearing sizes? It only says Mavic part numbers.
It also doesn't say the bearing size for the free hub on any of those (only free hub part number).

Is there some way to know the bearing sizes??
