Mavic Elite Ksyriums spoke breakage! 85kg?

Bought new in the spring and ridden 3x a week maybe 1500miles... mostly easy miles (out of shape) a few moderate climbs out of the saddle but normally seated. I did a somewhat steep hill climb (standing all out effort at the top) on Sunday no apparent trouble, then today after 10 miles twannnngg~! rear spoke on the non-drive side lost its head!

Am I too heavy for these wheels? about 85kgs/187lbs

is this common?

I had exactly the same problems with my Ksyriums.

Having ridden 7500kms in about 18 months, I kept blowing spokes, eventually had to get new wheels as it got to a point where the rear wheel couldn't be trued properly.

So now gone with some training wheels while I lose some weight, I was weighing in at 99kgs at the time all this was happening, then I will update to some decent top of the line wheels.
