I have Ksyruim SL wheels. On two occasions a spoke in the rear wheel has broken while riding and the wheel worped, obviously this is a real pain and the bike is no longer ridable.

I like the wheels themselves but was wondering if any one has had any similar experiences with this or can recommend an alternative stronger wheel.

I am looking at the Fulcram Racing 1 or the Bontrager Race X lite. I am living in the french alps so lightness is a must due to all the climbing:) .

I have 2 Ksyrium SL set and they never broke on me. You must be heavy! What's you're weight?

The new Titanium Campy Shamal Ultras are light and so sexy! But they are way more expensive than a Campy Eurus which is better than the Ksyrium SL.

    I am 74kg and do between 6,000 and 8,000 k per year.

I have been told by the Bike shop that Mavic wheels' production was transferred to Romania a few years ago, and since then they have noticed the quality deteriorate but prices have remained high.
