Mavic Mektronic computer compatible with new sensor?

I have a Mektronic gruppo with a front wheel sensor that has failed.
I would like to buy one of the newer skewer-style sensors/sending
units Mavic markets with their current version of the Wintech
computer.
Question is whether the skewer sending unit/sensor is compatible with
the Mektronic computer.
Any insight here would be appreciated.
