In a previous message I sought the ERD for an Ambrosio Excellite rim
made in 2002. No one had the number. Not wanting to despoke the wheel
for measuring purposes, I used a dishing tool to compensate for the
bulge caused by the hub. Measuring where the tool arms came into
contact with the rim eyelet's position in the rim well gave me the
number 605mm.

Or you could have taken out one spoke, measured that and worked back to
the ERD from the hub dimensions and spoke pattern. A spreadsheet like
Spocalc would have made it easy.
