My road bike frame was built with an FSA Megatech oversized BB last year. I'm curious how many others are running this setup.
It's an open-industry standard that uses 43mm bearings pressed directly into the BB shell, and an ISIS axle. http://www.oversizebb.com/
I like it for functional reasons (frame stiffness) and the fact that it's not from Shimano or Campy. The Pinerallo Dogma is now using this BB, along with FSA carbon cranks, so this may mean a boost in popularity will follow.
If anyone else is out there running this BB or has looked at it, would like to share comments or experience.
