Ohhh how exciting! Bicycle Victoria have organised another car free day at Yarra Boulevard for Sunday March 12th with time trials this time. :D

"From 8am to 10am, we will be conducting time trials - this involves bike riders completing a timed lap of the Boulevard (12km return), and later that day you will be able to look up your results on this page. Registrations will be available here from Tuesday 28 February."

And the best news is that the coffee man will be back!

My understanding is that the ITT part of it is not being run by BV
(they don't *get* that sort of thing), but being run by CSV (cycle
sport vic) or one of the CSV clubs (maybe Hawthorn? Dutchy? Are you
guys doing it?). It may also be a pilot for the RFID race timing stuff
in a largish scale.

That 'competitive' stuff scares BV, it's um, weird.. Hang on, I'll try to find out who from CSV is organising the ITT. Seriously tho I'm not really sure of the concept due to shite road surface & other riders gumbying around.

Not HCC. BV (as in other cases) would call in 'the experts' (ie you aint gonna see Dutchy makin PeanutButter sandwiches on a GVBR anytime soon. then again...). Have a Brd metg tonight. Shall find out more then...
