  1. Before I had my bypass surgery, a friend (who also had the procedure) told me to be prepared to wear
    support hose for a while.

A month after surgery, my cardiologist recommended TED hose - Knee length for some minor leg and
ankle swelling. They are $24.95 at Wal-Mart so I didn't buy them. My swelling is not that bad to buy
them, it's just very minor swelling. By the way, is there any danger involved with ignoring some
minor swelling. It's been 2 months after my bypass.

I'm sure my friend didn't pay that much for support hose. Are there support hose available without
paying $24.95 for these "TED" (top of the line) hose?

I see support hose for women advertised in a mail order catalog for $3.99 but none in men's sizes.
