Merlin fortius or Litespeed Altimate

I am looking for feedback from the big boys (>210lbs).
Currently at 230 lbs, planning on losing 30 lbs before summer.
Want to get a great bike_ have the choice between these two:
Merlin fortius or Litespeed Altimate. I will have a chance to test
the Litespeed but not the Merlin. I have to make a decision soon.

Please help
