Meyer's Cocktail to boost my Deficient Immune System

Hi:

I am a amateur cyclist that had a lot of health problems in the past few years. It all started in 2003, after a long stretch of really hard training, I picked up a very bad virus. I spent almost all the summer on the couch, not to mention that I quit bike racing for a long period. I freaked out because I did not know what exactly was happening (I still not sure!!!) and I went to see a lot of different specialists. No one was able to help me. I read that George Hincapie had these kinds of problems at some point.

I let my body recovered during 2004, I trained a little bit during 2004 but not too much as I was still not feeling 100%. This year I wanted to do a comeback and start training hard again but as I increase the volume and the intensity of my training, I get really tired or I get sick. Instead of getting in a better shape, it is the opposite that is happening, it seems that I get in worst shape because I am tired.

A Naturopath suggested that I try the Intravenous vitamin and Mineral protocol (AKA Meyer's cocktail), he said that Lance Armstrong team members take that after long training ride. Has anyone have any advices for me?
