Fake Name Goes

What the hell...I'm sitting here and as soon as I saw it I
said "he hit a pedal" Phil and Paul are going on and on
about his "stiff" wheel and how it lost traction. The french
tv feed also had a circle right around the pedal on a replay
and phil still says "how he went down is a mystery".

Come on guys...

He hit a TV cable with a box cover.

I think you've confused Rogers with White.

It was so blatantly obvious what happened, and for an ex-racer like Paul Sherwin to not get it is just ridiculous ........

Maybe the signal is poor in their OLN mobile trailer?

That was Matthew White.

it's so confusing when two Aussies crash in the same
race.... :) White hit a cable in warm up and Rogers dragged
a pedal in the hairpin.

Looking at the slow motion, Rogers' rear wheel DID actually
step out fractionally before the pedal hit the ground.
Couldn't tell if it was because he shifted the balance too
early by putting the pdeal down or whether putting the power
on too early caused the slip...

He put the pedal down which stepped the wheel out. It caught
and I thought everything was OK when it slipped completely
off. Remember that it was a bit wet on that corner and I
think that the very slight additional stress was just too
much. Hard luck for Michael and better luck next time. It
was a perfectly understandable mistake in a race where
100ths of seconds count.
