Maybe their radios weren't working, or they were dehydrated or they've
just gotten used to waiting around for george to climb out of a ditch
or get a new bike.....

Dumbass -

Sure it's happened before, just like with any bike race, but that
doesn't mean it happened this time.

In your earlier post you imply that LM could have left them at will.
Well, if he could have, he would have.

thanks,

K. Gringioni.

Speaking of George, it's good to see that he's back in action in
Georgia. I'm surprised this happened with so little media coverage.
Anyone know if he's riding with a cast or brace on his wrist?

Give George a break - he is usually in front of the rest of the
Discovery team when he goes into the ditches...

Don't know, but there was this comment in the CN live report of TdG stg
3
(http://www.cyclingnews.com/road/2007/apr07/georgia07/?id=live/georgia073):

"Before the start of the race today, we asked George Hincapie how his
wrist was doing. He said it bothered him a little on first day, but it's
been getting better ever since and racing here is definitely not as hard
on it as riding the cobbles in Belgium. Now, he's working to build back
his wrist's strength. Hincapie broke his wrist in the Tour of California
in February and has had to skip the Spring Classics in Europe this season."
