Mildenhall Cycling Club are still trying to trace almost 70 former members in order to invite them
to the 50th anniversary reunion on June 8.

Club spokesman Mark Burchett has reported several notable successes, including the tracking down of
Adrian Barrance, a member of the successful 1984 Land's End to John O'Groats team, who left the club
the year after and has been living and working in Honduras since 1990.

There is a complete list on the club's website, of anyone known to have been
a member. The reunion will be the highlight of the club's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The other high-profile event for this year is a celebration circuit time-trial, which takes place
    the weekend before.

It will have a Tour de France style start, courtesy of a raised ramp donated by event sponsor,
    Portaramp of Thetford.

It is hoped that the prize fund of £500 will attract some of the UK's top riders."
