Millar wins De Panne

Millar won the ITT and the overall of De Panne. He is riding Flanders and P-R this year, and looks to be set to do well. Two stages were won by Frenchmen. One stage by an American (Farrar). And one stage and the overall by a Brit. Strange race, and strange season.

I would have expected Devolder to put in a better showing but maybe he's saving himself for this upcoming week or so... That said, Quickstep didn't send a good team. Noone really sent their A squads to this event.

If they put this event at least a week before Gent-Wevelgem and Flanders then I'm sure there would be some of the strong classics guys tearing it up in prep for the tough classics.
