I currently have some mavic MA3 wheels (a bit old i know) but am considering purchasing a rear-wheel only with a 30-50 mm cross section (compatible with campy 9 speed). First of all, is mixing two different wheelsets a good idea at all; and second, what would be some suggestions for a single rear wheel. I am currently looking at HED stinger and jet models.
