  1. What-ho.

Some time ago there was a thread on "how we got started" which I added to my website. I also put up
    a series of mini-FAQs.

I've done a bit of tweaking and updating, including providing a printer-friendly version of
everything (preparatory to the text-only version which is now in progress, and will be followed by
finally fixing the menus so they don't kill Mozilla - sorry, folks). Anybody who would like to add
to the "how we got started" section please feel free to contact me as below.

I have done one or two mods to improve performance, and there will be others along the way. I bet
something is broken, as with any database design update, but I haven't found it yet.

Anyway, if anybody is interested the stuff is here:

Feedback welcome - here, by email (the reply-to address works) or using the New Improved Feedback
    Form[1] on the website.

[1] You can't see the improvements, they are all for my benefit :-)

Ah, I misunderstood; I was expecting an "update" to a modest website.

Heh! There are updates of a modest nature to the content of my modest website (actually a fair
number of them); the changes in the feedback forms database are, however, entirely to allow me
to read and respond faster to comments posted that way. The feedback form looks the same as it
    did before.
