I rode to the top of Mt. Spokane Monday for the first time in nearly 15 years, and it hurt! Due to needing new knees and plethora of injuries and other maladies including being 61 years old, in addition to the 60 pound difference weight. For the statisticians; the altitude at my home is 1920 ft., The top of Mt Spokane 5,882 ft., it took 61/2 hrs., burned 6,415 calories, 73.3 round trip miles, top speed 36.39 mph, ( “kind of†slow - rough road), avg. speed 11.44. It is a beautiful ride; please excuse the poor quality out of order pictures. I’ve included some websites in case anyone is interested in seeing what my corner of the world looks like; http://www.parks.wa.gov/parks/?selectedpark=mount%20spokane http://www.city-data.com/city/Spokane-Washington.html http://www.google.com/search?q=northern+idaho&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=570&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=6A71T-b0BMOYrAHdlLXPAw&sqi=2&ved=0CGcQsAQ http://www.google.com/search?q=eastern+washington+pictures&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=570&prmd=imvnsfd&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=yA_1T9RgxIesAdWj7c0D&ved=0CEcQsAQ
