Mongoose Boys BMX Bike for my son, oh, no,no!!

My 12 year old son have been asking for a bike for a while from now. So, we wanna buy him a nice bike as chrismas gift. But my wife and I have totally different taste toward bike. She insist to buy this Mongoose Boys' X-Ceed 20" BMX Bike for him. I have to suggest it is not a good choice. But she didn't ever listen to me. So, what should I do? Just let her do it??

I would let my son decide. Find out by listening to him he must be dropping some hints. My freind Mike has a blah blah blah. He is the one that will be riding it. Just make sure it is sized to fit. Merry Christmas maybe you can post pictures of his new bike.
