  1. I am thinking of purchasing a Mongoose wing comp. I can pick up a 2003 model for $529. Is this a good bike for the money or is there a better bike for the same price. I dont want to spend any more money than I am, a really want dual suspension. The stats are as follows:

7005 alloy frame with cromoly rear Trianagle, 4 bar linkage
    forks - mozo usa R-120 Alloy - 76mm travell
rear shock - mozo rs200 coil cover
    brakes - promax linear pull
    Fr derraileur - shimano c-050
    RR derraileur - shimano altus
    Shifters - Ef-28 Ez-fire
    Freewheel - Sunrace 7 spd Cassette 11-30t
Crankset - shimano ty40 alloy 42-32-22t steel rings
    Rims - Alex Z-1000 alloy 32h black
Hubs - oversized alloy, double seal, black

I'm mainly a weekend hack riding through the hills of perth, eg Jarradale, lesmurdie. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

  2. Don't get a mongoose my friend had one and the frame broke in half. I considdered getting a wing pro butevery one that ones a thing or two about mtb says the frames break.
