  1. I asked a week ago in this group about this and the Rab Drillium;
    ordered the Quickfire from Craigdon Mountain Sports for £100+pp, arrived
    yesterday.
    I decided on a size Medium after Craigdon measured the sleeves for me
    and I estimated they would be long enough. Luckily they are! (I'm quite
    thin at 186 / 68 kg, but often size Medium clothes will be too short at
    the waist and/or sleeves.) The detailing and finish is very nice. The
    sleeves are pre-bent and the tail dropped to cover the bum fairly good,
    nice features when bike riding.
    Unfortunately the hood can't be hidden in the collar like on the
    Drillium, but then the Quickfire has a two way front zipper which the
    Drillium doesn't. If the eVENT is such a great fabric as I've heard,
    I'll be very pleased with this jacket.
