It's mostly for sport, Mikey. You're an easy target with your ridiculous
obsessions, and irritating troll-like presence. You must be a very lonely
guy in the real world, eh?

Which is ironic, since equestrians do far more damage to the trails than
mountain bikes. The big difference is that equestrians tend to be older, and
wealthier.

MV exaggerated what happened in L.A.. The master plan is not completed, and
there will almost certainly be a compromise that allows mountain biking in
the park, because studies have shown that the city's less affluent residents
are in favor of multi-use.

Ask a park ranger about horses versus mountain bikes sometime, you'll touch
a nerve. While there will be the occasional mis-behaving mountain biker that
does some damage, even the most polite equestrian does far more damage. In
one open space area near my house, it's pretty hopeless to hike there in the
winter and spring, due to all the trail damage from equestrians which is
exacerbated by the rain. In fact I just bought a mountain bike so I can
actually use that area.

Equestrians have enough money and influence to continue to have access to
public lands, despite the damage they inflict.

Ummmm.....
Perhaps true... I have no desire to debate it but it seems this is only half
of the full quote...
It should read...

"All great truths begin as blasphemies but all blasphemies are not great
truths." Me

And in fact, almost all blasphemies are just blasphemies. The "Great Truth"
ones are as rare as "good mutations"... almost all are lethal.
Your quote, much like most of your ranting drivel, isn't even half complete.
A prime example that the dimmest bulb burns the longest.
Don't fool yourself... you're a retard.
You should learn to whack off with two hands so that they keep clear of your
keyboard.

I feel cheated! I went away for a week expecting at least one post
from you worth arguing with and this is the best you can do, a
playground taunt with no basis in fact because it does not engage with
any part of what I have actually written. For shame, Mike! Or have
you, too, gone away and left the bot in charge? This does look more
like a Vandebot than the authentic article. And there is no response
at all to a number of telling points made by others in this same
thread!

Of course, the real Mike can't stand having the truth told about horse
riding or hiking, either, or having any part of the truth told about
mountain biking other than the tiny subset which supports his
self-evident bigotry, but at least the real Mike is at least
fractionally more inventive. Yes, this one must have been the work of
the Vandebot.

As usual that is bigotry, not evidence. I have evidence that 90% or
more of drivers freely admit to speeding, so you need to provide an
externally verifiable citation that *more* than 90% of *all* mountain
bikers break the law.

Put up or shut up.

No, but you have. For example, actively seeking the support of horse
riders to bash mountain bikers despite the obvious damage that horse
riding can do to trails. But no evidence is needed beyond your
ceaseless trolling of biking newsgroups over a period of years. You
have admitted that no human activity is free of impact on wildlife,
yet you are not trolling the hiking, horse riding and off-road driving
newsgroups. Bigotry, plain and simple.

Yet, because of your bigotry, you choose arbitrarily to oppose one

A specialist in bashing one particular activity, yes. But you are
happy to support others who damage trails in your attempts to bash
biking. That is not specialism, that is bigotry.

Oh I know the answer alright, and thus your choice is revealed as

Really? Totally unrelated? I can make a good case for them being
strongly related - both are means for humans to increase speed and
distance covered, and to travel further with less effort expended,
both result in localised damage and transient disturbance rather than
the longer-lasting disturbance inflicted by hikers, both groups are at
risk from motor traffic so have an incentive to seek recreation in
open spaces. Yep, horse riders and cyclists have a lot in common.

In fact, if the horse riders were not bashing your favourite hate
group it's odds-on that you'd be against them as well. But you are a
bigot, so the fact that in this case the horse riders are attacking
your favourite hate group means you are in a cleft stick. It's fun to
watch!

No, he is enough of a hyprocrite and manipulator of people to have no
issues with using one group to ban another, then proceeding to try to
ban the successful group.

The equestrian people are being used by Mikie. Sooner or later they
will realize his real goals which include banning all horse riding, or
even to not having horses in this hemisphere.

Happy trails,

..
..No, but you have. For example, actively seeking the support of horse
..riders to bash mountain bikers despite the obvious damage that horse
..riding can do to trails.

I said exhibit a bigoted statement. You haven't done that. Put up or shut up.

But no evidence is needed beyond your
..ceaseless trolling of biking newsgroups over a period of years.

I just tell the truth about mountain biking. Telling the truth can't be bigotry.

You
..have admitted that no human activity is free of impact on wildlife,

without LYING.

Telling the truth isn't "bashing".

But you are

..
..Really? Totally unrelated? I can make a good case for them being
..strongly related - both are means for humans to increase speed and
..distance covered, and to travel further with less effort expended,
..both result in localised damage and transient disturbance rather than
..the longer-lasting disturbance inflicted by hikers, both groups are at
..risk from motor traffic so have an incentive to seek recreation in
..open spaces. Yep, horse riders and cyclists have a lot in common.

But the damage one does has NOTHING to do with the damage the other one does.
DUH!

..In fact, if the horse riders were not bashing your favourite hate
..group it's odds-on that you'd be against them as well. But you are a
..bigot, so the fact that in this case the horse riders are attacking

I don't have a hate group, liar. I just tell the truth about mountain biking --
something mountain bikers can't stand.

It's fun to

..
..The equestrian people are being used by Mikie. Sooner or later they

..even to not having horses in this hemisphere.

What hemisphere? Horses evolved in North America, and belong here, more than you
do.

It will never happen, Mikey...not because you're never wrong, but because
your mental state precludes you from ever admitting it.

"True believers" such as yourself can never be proven wrong. That applies
whether we're talking about Mike Vandemann, Ted Kaczynski, Eric Rudolph, or
others. It's a shame you can't see that, but that's the nature of it.

C'mon he may troll and he may anoy a few riders, but lets face it posting at 11.18, 11.20, 11.39,11.44, 11.45, 11.56 the mv'ster has got commitment :D lol  the absolute determination and psychopathy of these posts leaves me either feeling a bit sorry for him or just gives me a grin  this man knows no other words other than his own.I work in mental health services, and when people challenge the limits of the society, the services get stuck in a debate, about whether to we as a society choose exclude an individual or engage them. And rather than the mv'sters 'points' (in loose terms) being the topic of discussion for most folk, it seems to be whether we should engae him or exclude him. But you exclude him, he wins as he assumes he must be right, or you engage him a ponitless task as in his eyes he is right - again he wins :confused:Give him pity, anger or license; it matters not just keep riding :D (i would normally say with respect, but in his eyes this cannot happen) be yourselves (only in lycra)

..As usual that is bigotry, not evidence.

Read the report. Maybe IMBA will be honest enough to provide it to you. MAYBE.

I have evidence that 90% or
..more of drivers freely admit to speeding, so you need to provide an
..externally verifiable citation that *more* than 90% of *all* mountain
..bikers break the law.
