If you are looking for a new destination for your mountain biking holiday, consider going to Inner Mongolia or Mongolia. There is a 3-day stage race held by Nordic Ways on July 1st and will feature some of China's top mountain bikers. If the racing does not appeal to you, then the wide open grassy plains, wild horses, yurts and distant mountain ranges will appeal to you. You can organize your own holiday there.
