mounting help please?

Propably you need to lean more forward, i.e. jump more forward during
the mount. More freemounting tips here (in the Word doc):

I'm sure that your problem is that your cranks are vertical when you
mount, so you can't press down on the 'second' pedal when you get on due
to it being in the dead spot.

You'll want to learn to mount with the pedals almost horizontal. Try
looking through the thousands of posts on the exact same issue.
